Dr. Brian “Rosie” Rosenthal

Dr. Brian “Rosie” Rosenthal received his doctoral training at the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine (OCOM) in Portland, Oregon. In August of 2007 he was awarded the degree of Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (DAOM), the highest degree in the field of Oriental medicine in the United States. The doctoral program covered the treatment of many diseases with a specialization in Women’s Health and Disorders of Aging.

During his training, he studied with renowned Chinese medicine practitioners including Dr. Ming Qing Zhu, Dr. Gui Liu, Dr Hong Jin, Misha Cohen and Dr. Richard Hammerschlag, Ph.D. He also interned at the famous Conmaul Hospital in Seoul, Korea.

Dr. Rosenthal received his Masters degree in Oriental Medicine in 1996 from OCOM. His undergraduate work was at SUNY Oneonta, where he received a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education in 1978.

He is licensed by the Oregon Board of Medical Examiners.

Dr. Rosenthal’s commitment is to improving the health of each patient. By stimulating the body’s natural ability to heal itself, he is able to addresses the underlying cause of illness. He treats each person he sees with compassion, respect and professionalism. Through acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine, he uses a comprehensive approach that is individualized to each person’s needs.
